Ben Seidel
Ben Seidel was born and raised in Columbia, MO to an adventurous family with a passion for exploring new things. He attended and graduated from Christian Fellowship School in 2009. While in High School, Ben was actively involved in playing soccer, leading worship at his church, and spending time with friends and family.
Following his high school graduation, Ben felt led by God to attend Mizzou to study Marketing & Economics. While in college Ben founded Igniting Business which is dedicated to providing affordable and effective Web Design, SEO Services, and Marketing to small businesses. While at Mizzou, Ben got involved with numerous campus organizations, including one such organization called the Cornell Leadership Program, where he met Caitlin. They started dating in 2010 and got married in 2014.
After getting married, Ben and Caitlin expanded Igniting Business to the KC area by settling down and opening an office in Lee's Summit, MO. Ben spends his free time reading, co-leading a church small group with Caitlin, playing sports, playing drums and guitar, and tinkering with technology.
Caitlin Seidel
Caitlin was born and raised in Sedalia, MO, a small town about an hour away from Columbia. Caitlin grew up enjoying gymnastics and dance, but was never much good at sports. She attended Smith-Cotton High School and graduated in May 2009. Throughout high school, Caitlin participated in show choir and also served as Executive Director of the local soup kitchen.
After considering many colleges, Caitlin ended up at Mizzou studying Accountancy and Economics. She was actively involved in the business school organizations, including Student Council and the Cornell Leadership Program where she met Ben. During college, Caitlin travelled to Chile to study business styles and Costa Rica to teach English for a month.
After college, Caitlin completed the requirements to earn her CPA license and worked at a national public accounting firm for two years. In 2016, Caitlin joined Ben working full-time at Igniting Business. Caitlin enjoys reading, praying, cooking, blogging, and singing in her spare time. She can't wait to be a mom to a house full of kiddos!
Jeffrey
We rescued Jeffrey while still in college, and he's been with us since before there was officially a Seidel family.
You can find Jeffrey investigating every noise and out-of-place object in our humble abode. Additionally, he decides to sing the song of his people at roughly 4am every morning followed by his exercise routine of running the halls at 6am. In all fun, Jeffrey always entertains us with his kitten-like antics
Georgie
Georgie is the sane kitty among us. She is an expert hunter and even better snuggler. We also rescued Georgie at the same time as Jeffery (brother and sister in an abandoned litter).
Georgie does struggle with putting up with Jeffrey's wild antics, but she does her best at keeping her hissing at him to a relative minimum and her purring for her humans at an absolute maximum. She's recently become a bit more friendly to guests too!
